I just had a nice reminder that sometimes reporting a bug to a public software forum can matter, even if you suspect/know it’ll be closed out.

Someone familiar with the Symfony docs process ran across the same problem I had with the HttpClient, and appears to have had the same “what is even happening reaction I had”, but they found the issue I’d opened explaining it, and it doing the work to get this strange behavior documented.

Maybe this would have still happened if I hadn’t opened the issue, but it probably would have taken Benoit longer to get there. Also, I wouldn’t have learned (or been reminded? — middle age is a heck of a thing.) the Symfony docs are PR-able.
